We’re in the final days of the latest exhibit in the McLean Library! Now through August 10, the Library is hosting “ImPRESSive: The Art of Pressed Flowers and Plants.” Pressed flower and foliage creations are a crowd favorite among the artistic class displays at the Philadelphia International Flower Show, and now you can see more than 20 designs, including the ones shown here.
The exhibit was recently featured on CBS Philly when reporter Robin Culverwell profiled Junior Flower Show winners Caroline Anne and Eva Mary Timoney as they demonstrated their art at a recent workshop for kids and families.
The McLean Library is located on the first floor of PHS headquarters, 100 North 20th Street in Philadelphia. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
