The Demuth Museum will present its 29th Annual Demuth House and Garden Tour on June 9 and 10, 2012. Visitors will have access to some exclusive homes and gardens in Lancaster, in addition to the gardens of the Demuth Museum and Conestoga House. This year’s event will take visitors on a tour through historic and charming downtown Lancaster properties and the beautiful School Lane Hills neighborhood just west of downtown, showcasing art collections, remodeling projects, and creative urban gardens, and will also include a plant sale at Conestoga House with plants from the Demuth Garden and other local gardeners.
The kick-off event of the Garden Tour is the Annual Demuth Garden Party held at Conestoga House and Gardens on Friday, June 8 from 6:00 to 8:30 pm. The party will feature hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, live music, and a silent art auction. To make a reservation or for more information, call the Demuth Museum at 717-299-9940 or email assistant@demuth.org.
