While gardeners in the Philadelphia region are privy to some incredible private garden tours, a new national program created by The Cultural Landscape Foundation offers exclusive access to some of the most beautiful gardens in the United States, created by some of the most accomplished designers currently in practice. “Garden Dialogues” is an exciting opportunity for small groups and individuals to learn about the creative process from the designers and their clients.

Over three separate weekends at more than 12 sites, landscape architects and their clients will provide insights into their collaborations: the garden’s evolution, inspiration, and challenges; how artistry was balanced with practicality; challenges that were faced; the vision for the garden’s future, and more.

The first session in April included gardens in Atlanta, Miami Beach, Nashville, and Southern California;  on June 9 and 10, gardens will be open in Connecticut, Chicago, Northern and Southern California, the Hamptons, the Hudson Valley, and Washington, D.C. The series will conclude July 14 and 15 at gardens in Connecticut, Indianapolis, Maine, Newport, Portland, OR,  and Seattle.
