If you attended the Flower Show, you may remember seeing a Plant One Million display along the Convention Center concourse. The day of your visit would have determined what the display’s interactive tree looked like. For instance, if you were there on opening day, you may have thought our tree was kinda scrawny. If you came toward the end of the Show though, you were likely blown away by how big it was!
Each leaf of the tree represents an individual or family who has pledged to plant a tree this spring. The Plant One Million display is going to “hit the road” the month of April and make appearances all over the region, including at PHS events like the Meadowbrook Farm Spring Open House and Junior Flower Show.
April is all about trees. And since we intend to plant one million within the next few years, we’re going to share lots of tree-planting info in the month ahead. Stay posted!
