Nothing can match the spectacle of the Flower Show, but March offers other great events for gardeners. Let’s emerge from this winter with some fun!
The first list of events is meant for gardeners, both amateur and advanced. Highlights of the list include the chance to re-connect with your inner child with the “Critter Hunts for Grown-Ups” at Tyler Arboretum and the “Composting at Home” workshop at the Rodale Institute in Kutztown, PA.
Gardening & Greening Events in March
The next list (linked below) is for tots and their parents who want to get acquainted with nature!
If your kids are especially crafty, the paper-making class at Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve in New Hope, PA, might be a fun choice. After all, you are never too young, or old, for a new hobby!
If your tastes are a little more…sweet, try ice cream making at the Delaware Center for Horticulture in Wilmington, DE. That and more can be found in the link below.
Have fun! Leave a comment to let us know what events you attend.
