Grace Asperin, former Morris Arboretum intern and current PHS-er wants to help you tap into your creative side and celebrate this year’s Flower Show theme, “Hawaii, Islands of Aloha”.

Join Grace on February 25 in a workshop at which you’ll craft your own beautiful fresh floral lei, a festive and important part of Hawaiian history and culture. This class is appropriate for the whole family.

You couldn’t ask for a better teacher than Grace; she grew up in Hawaii and has been making leis since she was a young girl. “I’m always excited when people take an interest in my culture, and it’s nice to be able to spread a little aloha spirit,” Grace says.
